The Great Pyramid a water
pump???
I have read about some fantastic theories about the
pyramids on the Giza Plateau in Egypt. Some of the theories involve extraterrestrial
assistance in the design and construction or these great monuments. I read
a great number of books about ancient spaceships before I found a very
sobering book. Lyon Sprague De Camp's book "The Ancient Engineers" will
put to rest these theories and show the incredible resourcefulness of ancient
man. Another interesting theory by Hydraulic Engineer, Edward J. Kunkel,
is that the great pyramid at Giza is actually an ancient water pump.

He shows some excellent working diagrams and
makes a good case. If Kunkel is right, this might be evidence that the
Egyptians, as we know them, did not build these structures. They only modified
them to fit there needs. There is some evidence to show that the Sphinx
