How many dimensions are there???

There may have been more than one Big Bang. There may have been an infinite number, each creating it's own unique Universe. So says Alan Guth in his theory 'An Eternity of Bubbles'which can be found on Stephen Hawking's Home Page. Stephen Hawking is possibly the world's foremost theoretical physicist. His field of study involves general relativity and the singularities (Black Holes). Hawking, who is disabled in a wheelchair with A.L.S. (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, or Lou Gehrig’s  Disease), is able only to communicate by use of a computer.
