I didn't recognize the Valley.
The damage from the floods of last year was almost total.
A good spot for a Base Jump.
Everything is gone! The river cut a new course and rock falls have changed the structure of the Valley. Road and building construction covers the Valley.
Wildlife is only seen in the early morning or at dusk. The bears come out only at night to forage.

There are two different Yosemites. The high country, which Glacier Point is only a small part, and there is the Valley. The Valley is magnificent with it's waterfalls and great cliffs.
The air is crisp and clear up this high.
This is the first view after you exit the tunnel on Highway 41 coming from the south. Glacier Point is located on the southern rim of the Valley.
Images of the Merced River just off Highway 140 near El Portal at the Entrance to the Park. The river was down when the shots were taken.
