Our visit, during the
first part of August 2000, was marred by the wildfires burning throughout
the western states. The visibility was limited and many of the photos appeared
'washed out'.
Many images were digitally
enhanced.
Our first stop was at the
Midway Geyser Basin, a few miles inside the West Entrance.
