Jim met Eva Sherman when Eva came over to visit his sister Connie. All three attended Clairemont High School in San Diego Ca. The first time Eva saw Jim, she knew that he was the one.

Jim was in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Hood in Texas, when they married.

Eva's family has a tradition of using the Bali Hai Restaurant and Banquet facilities for special occasions. The day was sunny and bright with plenty of ships and boats to provide background color.
Jim and Eva were married on the fourth
of August, 1985 at the Bali Hai Restaurant
on San Diego Bay. Uncle Henry Kruse came
down from his vineyard outside of Fresno Ca.
